Bow Shapes and Motion

In this lesson, we go in depth into the physical motions of the body and right arm. What are bow shapes? What is contrary motion? How is playing the cello like playing a sport? Using examples from Paul Rolland, Diran Alexanian, and others. Richard Aaron teaches us new ways of looking at the bow and expanding our cellistic and musical palette.
