Second Position: Largo from Dvořák's ‘New World’ Symphony

In this lesson, Mafalda introduces second position through the main theme from the second movement of Dvořák’s 'New World Symphony'.

Third Position: Beethoven's ‘Für Elise’

In this lesson, Mafalda explores third position through an adaptation of Beethoven’s 'Für Elise'.

Fourth Position: J. Strauss's ‘Blue Danube’

In this lesson, Mafalda introduces fourth position through an adaptation of J. Strauss’s Blue Danube.

Bringing Everything Together: Verdi's La Traviata ‘Toast’

In this lesson, Mafalda brings together all neck positions through an adaptation of the “Brindisi” from La Traviata. She also introduces half position and explains how it can offer a cleaner, more efficient alternative to extensions in certain contexts.
