Taught by renowned cellist

Astrid Schween

In this course, Astrid Schween, beloved cellist, teacher, and communicator takes us on a guided tour of the masterful, even epic Sonata for Cello and Piano of Chopin. The composer's last work published during his lifetime, the work poses great challenges to both pianist and cellist. Schween draws on many lessons she had with the legendary Jacqueline du Pré as we get insights into the magical, melodic world of Chopin.
