<p id="">In this lesson, cellist Brannon Cho walks us through the powerfully expressive first movement of Prokofiev's Sinfonia Concertante. He discusses the movement's expensive melodies and shares his advice on the challenging double stops, shifts, vibrato, and rhythmic material.</p>

<p id="">II. Allegro giusto</p>

<p id="">This movement presents new challenges for the cello. Cho shares his advice on mastering the technical aspects of this grandiose movement, including tips for practicing octaves, fast and slow passages, and connecting with the orchestra.</p>

<p id="">Cadenza</p>

<p id="">In this extensive lesson, Cho breaks down the electrifying and energizing cadenza. Cho shares a comprehensive guide to overcoming challenges such as octaves, fast passages, and keeping a steady pulse, as well as advising on using mental markers to conquer demanding passages.</p>
