Detaché Bow Stroke
This lesson develops a controlled and flexible détaché through full use of the bow. Christian explains how the upper arm, lower arm, and wrist work together across the frog, middle, and tip, with special attention to balance, bow distribution, and maintaining a relaxed shoulder. Practical exercises show how to build consistency, clarity, and sound production without tension.
Vibrato
Christian reframes vibrato as the result of a healthy physical environment rather than a forced motion. He explains how relaxed setup, fingertip flexibility, and an outward arm impulse allow vibrato to emerge naturally. The lesson introduces a slow, targeted exercise designed to build or rebuild vibrato from the ground up with clarity and control.
Left Hand Finger Independence
This lesson focuses on developing finger strength and independence without excess pressure. Christian explains how stable hand shape, efficient finger motion, and controlled lifting improve clarity, intonation, and speed. He demonstrates how mindful repetition builds coordination while keeping the hand relaxed and responsive.
