Violist of the Takács Quartet Richard O'Neill has distinguished himself as one of the great instrumentalists of his generation.. An Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient, GRAMMY and EMMY Award winner, he has performed with top orchestras worldwide and recorded extensively with Universal Music/Deutsche Grammophon. O'Neill also serves as Goodwill Ambassador for several humanitarian organizations and teaches at the Music Academy of the West.
